Description
GILT DOUBLE GOURD OPEN METAL TABLE LAMP
Metal gives this open metal its distinctive look and feel, lending natural texture and visual depth to the base. The steel finish highlights these qualities while keeping the overall profile clean and well-proportioned. It’s a lamp that doesn’t need to try too hard—the material does the work. The linen details round out the design with subtle sophistication.
Metal Base and Finish
The metal construction gives this lamp a substantial, confident presence. The finish—whether brass, bronze, gold, or black—is applied evenly and holds its color well over time. Metal bases like this one tend to outlast ceramic or resin alternatives, making this a smart long-term choice for a well-used space.
Fabric Shade and Light Diffusion
The fabric drum or tapered shade diffuses light evenly, producing a soft, ambient output suited to reading, relaxing, or accent lighting. Linen and similar natural textiles give the shade a refined appearance that coordinates easily with most fabric palettes in a room. The shade’s proportions are balanced carefully against the base.
Versatile Interior Styling
This lamp integrates easily into a range of room styles—from contemporary and transitional to traditional and eclectic. The proportions are well-suited for a nightstand, side table, or console placement, where its height and shade width create a balanced visual presence. It reads as considered and complete rather than generic.

Talk about sleek! This lamp brought my whole MCM living room concept together. The clean lines and bold color make it such a statement. You can just feel the quality in the base—it’s solid and well-crafted, totally a premium buy. It looks way more expensive than it actually was, giving off that perfect retro vibe without the vintage price tag. It’s my new favorite piece!
